Kathleen McQuiggan is a nationally known business consultant and spokesperson for the cause of women’s equality in business. She is the President and Founder of Catalina Leadership. She was formerly a vice-president at Goldman Sachs, where she was in institutional sales in Chicago and Boston. She has 20 years of experience with major investing firms, concentrating in sales.

Kathleen is a long-time activist for women’s issues in business. She was Co-Chair of the New Talent Subcommittee of Goldman Sachs Firmwide Women’s Network Steering Committee; senior sponsor of Goldman Sachs Boston Women’s Network; and was the recipient of the Goldman Sachs Citizenship and Diversity Award. She is currently: Co- President of the Boston Chapter of 85Broads; a supporter and spokesperson for the National Council for Research on Women, Women in Fund Management report; and is a member of the Simmons Women’s Initiative Forum. She has been a guest speaker at numerous conferences on women’s leadership in business including: 85Broads, Simmons College, and 100 Women in Hedge Funds.

Kathleen has a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance from Towson University which she attended on scholarship. She was captain of the women’s basketball team in her senior year when she received GTE Academic All- American honors. The university also awarded her the 2010 Dean’s Recognition Award from the College of Business and Economics.

Kathleen currently serves on the YWCA Boston Board of Directors, Invest in Girls Board of Directors, and is an active supporter of the Dartmouth Natural Resource Trust. Kathleen resides in Boston and Dartmouth, MA.
